Nurani is the Head of Global Engagement at the London Internet Exchange (LINX), one of the largest Internet exchanges in the world, connecting approximately 900 member ASNs from over 80 countries around the globe.
She is the former Chief Commercial Officer at Asteroid International, which builds IXPs and provides managed IXP solutions around the world. Before that she worked as the Head of Outreach and Communications at Netnod, where she managed all external communications, business development, and Internet policy.
Nurani currently serves on the ASO AC as a representative of the RIPE region. She is also the chair of the IANA Numbering Services Review Committee, tasked with assisting the RIRs in their review of the IANA Numbering Services.
She has worked extensively with Internet policy and Internet governance issues nationally as well as globally, and works on a broader level with Internet operational matters, including Internet exchange points, DNS and DNS root servers.
Nurani has been active in the Internet community for over two decades, participating in and speaking at international Internet conferences globally.
